Those unfamilar have some homework to do while I continue to feel insanely blessed to have him on board. I'll stand on "PLO Man & Hashman Deejay Live @ Club Daphnia" as an important document, something like a modern Jeff Mills at Liquid Room.
Jesse Futerman, ex-Torontonian now repping Montreal, will spin as well. An adept dance music producer as well as DJ, Jesse came to my attention from his track "Waterzone", a song that has this property of instantly uplifting my mood. Cutting samples and programming drums influenced by equal parts DJ Shadow and The Avalanches, his sharp ear and infectious energy gives me a true relief that my party is in good hands. This is the happiest i've ever seen anyone been to play Boiler Room
Toronto native Ola Mazzcuza aka (Olasconola) will also be pulling from her collection to set the vibe off. Interesting enough, with performances at Zeyzey, Gramps Getaway and Jolt Radio, she's a total embodiment of the Toronto x Miami Link this party is all about. With her library of mixes being extremely diverse, I don't know what to expect and I don't really need to know. She gets it.
Finally, Mutual Image (me) and Chris Hurst will pop off crazy silly style back to back flexing our pure love of music. There's really no other way to put it.
